"The finished piece was better than the original I had bought — and he went the extra mile to teach himself a new stitching method just to get it right."
— Margaret T., Sheridan, WY
A hand-tooled belt split clean through at the keeper — three years of daily wear, one bad day.

I thought I'd have to give up on it. Every cobbler I tried said it was too far gone. You fixed it and matched the tooling so well I can't find the seam.
The Repair
The keeper had failed where the vegetable-tanned leather had dried and cracked under the buckle fold. I re-wet the surrounding area, beveled fresh edges, and saddle-stitched the repair with waxed linen thread in a matching pitch. The tooled pattern was hand-stamped to blend the restored section. Total bench time: 4 hours.
The Repair
Full teardown. The tree was broken in the fork — not repairable — so I sourced a matching fiberglass-reinforced replacement. New cantle binding in matching skirting leather, re-stuffed panels with wool fleece, replaced skirts with fresh sheepskin. All hardware cleaned and re-riveted. Saddle-stitched throughout with 5-cord thread. Bench time: 38 hours over two weeks.
A broken tree, cracked cantle binding, and skirts that had blistered her mare for two seasons.

She went sound the first ride out. I'd been blaming her feet for eighteen months. It was the saddle the whole time. You rebuilt it and gave me my horse back.

A factory holster that printed badly and had no retention. He'd given up on commercial options after the third one.
Ray M. · Billings, MT
It was worth every week of the wait. The fit is so exact it clicks when it seats. I've never carried this confidently. I sold everything else I owned.
The Repair
Wet-molded over the exact firearm — a Kimber 1911 Commander — in 8–9 oz Hermann Oak skirting leather. Molded wet, dried under tension for 72 hours, then hand-burnished. Saddle-stitched with 4-cord waxed thread at 7 stitches per inch. Retention tuned to the customer's draw weight preference. Matching cartridge belt to waist and caliber. Bench time: 14 hours.

In today's throw-away society, quality like this is almost unheard of. I sold everything from the other two companies I'd used. There simply is no comparison in function, finish, and quality.

Beth has done several projects for me — custom halters, a bridle, and repairs. Her workmanship is outstanding. The items she's made are beautiful and very high quality.

There is no doubt in my mind he loves what he does and cares enough about quality that he makes one of the best saddles produced today. Custom-made, and it shows in every inch.
